When I open up the Crysis 2 PC Demo for the first time through steam everything is alright, I set resolution at 1920x1080, hardcore graphics settings but when I go into a game my fps falls to 0-1 and my game world is transparent (invisible/see-through). I tried the game at the lowest resolution 800x600, game runs at 50-60 fps but the game world is still transparent. If anybody has this problem or knows how to fix this problem or has any suggestions please reply. Thanks in advance for who ever gives me a hand.

I'm not sure if anybody else is having problems with ATI if that even is the problem which it probably isn't because nobody else is complaining about it that I know of. And yes I have up to date drivers lol.Crysis 2 In-game Problem.?
Never had this happen to me. I am using the multiplayer demo tho so if you have the leak it could be a poor torrent.

I play at 1400x900 cos my monitor is crap as but play at gamer because i see that as best looking. I average 60-70 fps.

Does this happen with other games?
I'm not too sure. Could it be something to do with a program running. I know when i play BFBC2 if i press tab + alt everytime a new match starts theres a black screen and then i have to press alt + tab at the start of each match.

Why aren't my games in Steam full screen?
When I open any game that used to be full screen in Steam, such as all Half Life games, Crysis, etc, they aren't full screen. The game shows up in the center of the screen surrounded by a large black border that takes up the rest of the screen. The window's bar at the bottom is gone and so is everything else so it is as if the game is full screen, but it's only in the center of the screen. I am using a Windows Vista and this problem never existed before so I don't believe it has anything to do with the graphics card or anything like that. Open the console (press the ` key) and type "-dxlevel 90". This changes a setting that can get changed and alter the full-screen configuration.
Go to "My Computer \HKEY_CURRENT\Software\Petroglyph\UAWEA\鈥?then go to the ScreenRefresh setting (it's towards the bottom) and double-click. This should change it "decimal," then put in 60.

Call of Duty Black Ops Steam Trade?
I want Black Ops and will trade a Steam account or EADM account with several games. The Steam account has Portal Half Life 2 Deathmatch and the other DLC, Homefront, and CID The Dummy. And the EADM account has All three Crysis games. I will only trade for a Steam Account with Black Ops or I will give you both accounts if you have both DLC. I don't play them at all and just Homefront and Portal are enough for BO. Only do this if BO is the only game you have on the account or just don't care.Call of Duty Black Ops Steam Trade?

Steam won't launch games?
For some reason Steam won't launch any games. I've tried Crysis and Crysis Warhead (the only two games I have on Steam haha) and neither will launch. Steam just says "Launching game" then goes to a black screen then the game freezes. Steam is up to date as are the games. The games used to launch. I just upgraded my video card and put my computer into a new case. The new video card is an XFX Radeon HD 5870.

when it is done try to run crysis
if it didnt work try this:

go into ''program files"
open the "steam" folder
open the "steamapps" folder
go into the "common" folder
go into the "crysis" folder
look for an EXE called crysis or cry or something
when you click the right EXE the game will start. if the same problem happens then the problem is with Crysis, not Steam.
If the game starts correctly then you will have to create a shortcut to the EXE and use that to play the game.pro comp victoria hotels

Can i load the same game from Origin on two diffrent computers?
My brother who lives in USA wants to buy me Crysis 2 from Origin instead of buying it from steam since its alot cheaper. So when there isnt a gift option on Origin yet is it possible that he logs in on my Origin acount, purchases it and then i can log in to the account in Finland and then download the game? Is this possible?Can i load the same game from Origin on two diffrent computers?
You would have to re-download the game onto your computer once you are logged in from your computer, but you wouldn't have to buy it again because it will already be recorded in their files that your account purchased that game.

It runs off DX9 if you don't have Vista and a DX10 capable card installed. You can go into your settings and make sure of it but I promise you it does. It wont run DX8 as there is manditory updates.Question about Crysis and Directx 9?
